Jesus thank You for being a Healer. There has been real hurt in my life, but You are a real God! I trust You to be healer to my soul. Lord help me cast my cares on You so I can experience spiritual and emotional health!

There is an ad for Neosporin where kids are sitting around comparing scars and each is claiming to be the toughest. One girl attempts to show her scar, but under her bandage the skin looks perfectly fine because the healing ointment has worked so well. So the other kids believe she is telling lies about what caused her scar.

When you allow Jesus into your life He will heal you so well that people won't believe what you've been through!

If all you do is obsess over what other people have, then YES their grass will look greener. Stay away from that line of thinking! "Water your own grass" by cultivating your own spiritual gifts and asking what God's plan is for your own life. Trust Jesus Christ to be more than enough in your life then grow and flourish like never before!

Do you understand that sin is a choice? Well for those of us in Christ it is. We have been freed from the bondage of sinful habits and desires. Why would anyone want to live in that anymore?

Just like the caterpillar goes through a change to become a butterfly, in Christ we have done the same. We are not what we used to be. We have a completely new nature. God makes us new.

Lord thank You for new life. I know that through the power of Your Spirit I can live in victory over my sinful nature. Before knowing You I was dead in my sin. But You have set me FREE! Jesus show me how to live in that freedom! AMEN

When someone decides to eat healthier and and avoid certain foods over a long period of time the results are interesting. Greasy foods can make you sick. Soda can give you a headache. Processed foods will taste terrible. Over time a person doesn't have to try and avoid these things, because their appetite has changed. Living a godly is hard work, but over time it gets better. When you seek Jesus zealously sinful habits and negative relationships will make you sick. Certain sins become so repulsive that you naturally stay away from them and feed your spirit with the things of Christ.

Jesus knows that we are not perfect. That's why He died to give us a new life and new relationship with God. The Christian life can be overwhelming sometimes. But remember, its not about perfection, but progression! Keep pressing forward.

What I love about statements such as this one is that if God gives us a command, then He will also empower us to execute it. Have you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord? if so then the power of Christ in you will help you live a righteous life.
