God may be allowing you to lack
something in a certain areas of your life just to show you that He is all you
really need! We have our own plans figured out sometimes in such detail.
We want our situation to be ideal in order for us to move forward with certain
plans. We get scared of failure or embarrassment. We want to trust too much in
other things and people for support. God is trying to show us that He should be
our only means of support.
Take a look at David when he fought the giant Goliath (1
Samuel 17). When most of us in that situation would have had armor, swords, and
any other weapons we could find, David just had his stones and his slingshot.
He knew that with the Almighty God on his side those stones were all he needed.
There may be a certain area, skill, or quality in your life that you feel is
not as strong or impressive as it should be. Don’t let that keep you from accomplishing
your goals. Where you feel weak is just a chance for the Lord to step in
and make you strong.
