Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18 esv
We live in a fallen world. Sadly all around we see the
effects of sin in all facets of life. Our world is laden with sin, corruption,
and pain. So many times things happen in this life that just aren’t fair. We
see things happen that are just plain wrong. We wrestle with anger and
resentment. We wrestle with our feelings and our knowledge of who God is. Does
He know what’s going on?
God sees, He knows, and He cares. This world is laced with
wickedness, but the next one is not. One day God will right every wrong. One
day Jesus will wipe every tear from the eyes of The Father’s children. One day
Christ will expose all evil and everyone must give an account to Him. Right now
let s never forget that all things work together for the good of God’s
children. He has a purpose and a plan.
