God knows exactly how you feel.
When you are going through people do their best to try and console you. One of
the biggest mistakes a person can make is telling someone, “I know how you feel”
when in all actuality they have no clue. It frustrates and confuses us. We don’t
want to listen to people who can not relate to our issue. We want to get help
and healing from someone who understands. Jesus understands.
Jesus came to Earth and lived a life just like yours and
mine. He experienced pain, abuse, rejection, disappointment, and the list goes
on and on. The God you serve empathizes with you. Not only does He listen, but
He understands your problems. At times it is appropriate to address the Lord as
the Sovereign Master of the universe, but remember that He is also your Best
Friend. Talk to Him like He is.
