“For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
When
we didn’t deserve any of His love or generosity God sent His Son Jesus Christ.
It is so easy to get our focus off of the Lord; especially during this season
when Christ is the last thing on the minds of the world. However we have to
remember how great this gift is that God gave us. When we did not deserve it
Christ came to ultimately give His life up for us.
When nothing else seems to be going your way, remember what
God did for you. If no one else loves you, God love you that much. If another
person never cares about you, the Lord cares about you more than you could
imagine. If you never receive a gift from anyone else, if you are a child of
God then you have the greatest gist of all. God loves you and He proved that through the gift of His Son.
