But I say, walk
by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the
desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 ESV
Life as Christian is
rough. Not only do we deal with all of life’s daily issues, but now we struggle
with our flesh. We wrestle everyday with our sinful desires, knowing God has
called us to live differently than most people around us do. When our minds are focused on the world it seems that we can never live to please the Lord. But
God has given us a Helper; the Holy Spirit.
If you have been born
again, then you’re learning a new way of living. God gave you His Spirit to
show you what to do in all things. To walk in the Spirit means to live in the
Spirit. If you just keep your mind stayed on God He will speak to you. There is
never a situation in life that you will be alone in. We all slip sometimes. But if you stay in tune with the Spirit through prayer,
then you will have victory in all areas of your life!
