Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
Ephesians 3:20 kjv
Exceeding Abundantly. Have you ever just thought about those
words? Other versions say 'far more abundantly', 'immeasurably more', 'superabundantly', and 'far over and above'. God’s ability is beyond our imagination. We can barely
put it into words. Paul had just given the Ephesian Christians a tall order in
what they should accomplish in their lives. But he exhorts them with the truth
that God’s superabundant power is working in them.
God is calling you to do something.
When you think you’re unable, remember that God is always able. Whatever Christ
has placed on your hear He is more than able to perform it in you. If you know
Christ for real then the Spirit of God lives inside of you. Take the focus away
from yourself and focus on God’s power. God can do it. You can do it through His
power!!!
