fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.

Besides Christ, who else is there to follow? Human beings
have an innate desire in us to follow someone or something. God made us to
follow Him, but too often we go and seek direction from other things. We would
rather pay a psychic, read horoscopes, or simply trust our own intuition to see
what our next steps in life should be. Even when those things disappoint we
still run back. This is especially sad for Christians because we have direct
access to God through our Savior Jesus Christ.
Who are you following? If it not the Lord, then you are
lost. The Lord gave you everything needed to follow His will through His Spirit
and His Word. The Spirit helps us understand the Bible, tells us what to pray,
and speaks to our spirits. You just have to be willing to listen. Even if you’re
not following something else you’re still caught in the enemy’s trap if you’re
not following God’s will. Stop trying to do it without God. Ask Him what to do
then act on it. Then you will succeed!
